30 Days of Prayer
30 Days invites Christians to pray with love and respect for Muslim peoples around the world. In doing so we hope to see Christians gain a better understanding about Muslim people, their faith and their various, diverse cultures; increases in efforts to respond with love and compassion to the needs of Muslims, and greater interest in Jesus among Muslim peoples. This happens with an annual prayer event coinciding with Ramadan each year and a prayer guide that enables Christians to pray regularly. pray30days.org/product/30-days-of-prayer-2022-pdf

Church Retreat
The 2022 St Paul’s Parish Retreat is coming up May 13-15, and you’re invited! We are looking forward to being out at Camp Nakamun, a wonderful lakeside camp that offers great food, fun activities and a welcoming facility. Our guiding verse is Philemon 1:7, “Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed the hearts of God’s people.” Please join us as we sing, pray, learn and play together, being refreshed in mind, body, heart and spirit.
Registration is now open HERE or on our website’s EVENT page to register as soon as possible so we have time to look after all the details. Payment will not be required until May 1, 2022, in case of unforeseen circumstances that might force the retreat online.

Byers Hike for Hospice
Team Byer Buckaroos are getting in shape for this year's Hike for Hospice on April 30,2022! Pilgrims Hospice is funded almost entirely by private donations, so fundraisers such as the Hike for Hospice are key to enabling families to access their services free of charge. Please consider donating towards the Byer Buckaroos goal of $1500. Donations can be handled online HERE (to Byer Buckaroos!), or you can contact Margot directly at margot.byer@gmail.com.

LTD Fundraising
This summer, Macreena Schurek is in her second year of the Leadership Training and Discipleship (LTD) program at Gull Lake Centre. This program is one of two main priorities at the centre (the other being summer camps). It is a three-year, experiential learning program for High School students. During the three years, students are taught about leadership with emphases on personal development, social justice, evangelism, communication, and teamwork through experiences in spiritual formation, cabin leading, inner-city service, mountain hiking, and more. The program exists to disciple students to encounter God as life-long, transformed participants in the Kingdom. Macreena is seeking financial support for this, with a goal of raising $1700 by the end of the summer. If you are interested in talking with her more about this, please email her at mackersmak@gmail.com. For more information, please visit https://gulllakecentre.ca/about/ and https://gulllakecentre.ca/ltd/

Youth Retreat - May 20-23, 2022
Over the May Long weekend, the Youth are planning to participate in the Young Sojourners Youth Retreat at the Sorrento Centre. This is week after the church retreat. The theme for the retreat, "Better Together," will be focusing on rebuilding the connections of our youth that have been altered from the pandemic. While details of the event are still in their planning stages, Young Sojourners retreats in the past have served to be amaxing opportunities for youth from many Anglican dioceses to connect and form relationships that have led to lasting friendships. For more information, see our EVENT page.

Youth and Kids Club
Youth Group is for those in Grades 7 to 12. Led by our Youth Director, Abbi Harding, the youth meet most Sunday mornings during the service. There is a calendar already available for other activities that are planned for the upcoming year. If our services are happening only online, the Children's Ministry will be available via Zoom. More information can be found HERE.
