Good Day St. Paul's,

With increasing COVID cases and subsequent risk, it is important to observe the protocols and restrictions that we have in place. At St. Paul's, we continue to meet together in person, but are no longer singing together. Please familiarize yourself with the protocols in the bulletin and see the attached letter from Rev Myron. This is all to comply with provincial restrictions, and to ensure the safety of others.

This service will also be available online as a live-stream and the bulletin is attached here. To find our live-stream services, please visit our website and visit the Events tab and click on the “St. Paul’s Sunday Service” event to find links to our YouTube Channel; or CLICK THIS LINK.

As always, please read on for more announcements.

Sincerely,
Asher Hébert

Community Corner for Sunday, January 23

If you’re into outdoor winter sports, hiking, stargazing, or snowshoeing, Elk Island National Park has it all. Everything to do with outdoor winter fun is just a 35-minute drive from downtown! There is all-season camping available, and firepits for a good source of warmth if you want to build a fire. There are many ways to discover little-known facts about the park and its wildlife. Astotin Lake is a wonderful destination for skating too!

SPANN (Stony Plain Road and Area News Network) is a community newspaper serving the neighbourhoods of Grovenor, Canora, Britannia-Youngstown, Glenwood, and West Jasper/Sherwood. It is published by the Stony Plain Road and Area Business Association with the support of Jasper Place Revitalization/City of Edmonton. Curious? www.stonyplainroad.com/spann/ Please note: they are also looking for articles to publish!

The SilverSkate Festival is almost here! It runs February 11-21 with many fun things to do. They have changed up their offerings but haven’t got their schedule posted yet. Check back regularly at https://silverskate.ca/ to see when they post it, and be sure to get out to enjoy the fabulous creativity, friendliness and culture in the cold air.

Coats at Street Entrance
There is a section of the coat rack at the west-facing street entrance that is reserved for storing coats for those in need during these frigid temperatures. If you have coats or supplies to donate, please place them in that section and notify Nathaniel or Michelle Schurek. If you do not wish for your coat to be taken, please hang on the north-facing alley-entrance coat rack.
