Good day St. Paul’s Parishioners,

2020 is already shaping up to be a great year for St. Paul's! As you settle into the new year, please keep an eye on the many activities we have available (including Small Groups, Services, Games Nights, and LOTS more).

Please see below for some activities coming up soon.
Sincerely,
RJ Chambers
Office Administrator

Philosopher's Cafe - January 26, 4:00-6:00PM at Christ Church
What does it mean to have hope in the “end times” - in the wake of colonialisms, genocides, nuclear threat, social upheavals, and pending ecological and economic collapses? All are welcome (and childcare is provided!) as Rev. Myron Penner presents Faith and the Future.

Chapel Prayer Team Training - Thursdays in February
Are you interested in joining the Chapel Prayer team? Chapel Prayer training will be held on Thursday evenings in February. If you are interested in joining this important ministry at St. Paul’s, please contact the office to register and for more information.

AGM and Sandwich Sunday - Sunday, February 9
Please join us for the St. Paul’s Annual General Meeting following the service on February 9. We will also be having a Sandwich Sunday that day so please plan to join us for lunch!! If you are available that Sunday and willing to help out with sandwich materials set up and such, please contract RJ in the office.

Wednesday Suppers and Bible Study
The Wednesday Night Bible Before Sunday plans to have a monthly supper starting Wednesday, January 29th at 6:30PM in the Hall. If you would like to come for just supper (or for supper and the study), please email Peter Jackson by Monday, January 27, at midnight so we have an idea of numbers.

Games Night - Friday, February 14 at 6:00PM in the Hall
Are you ready to play?! Please join us every 2nd Friday of the month for games in the Hall. Come learn a new game, bring your favourite to teach others, or play a classic with new friends! We will also have a Puzzlers Corner for those who want to build puzzles together.

A Night with the Persecuted Church - Monday, February 24 at 7:00PM in the Sanctuary
Please join Open Doors and St. Paul's as we host A Night with the Persecuted Church. This is an opportunity to hear stories of how people have sacrificed everything to follow Christ. You’ll be challenged to follow the examples of faith lived by those who follow Jesus no matter the cost. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with your persecuted family through letter writing and prayer.

Interested in Confirmation or Baptism?
There will be a service of Confirmation on March 1. If you are interested in Confirmation or Baptism, please speak with Rev. Myron or contact the office.

Picture Bulletin Board - Is It Missing You?
There are still a few gaps on the congregational picture board. Some of those gaps are just big enough to fit your photo!! If you have not already, please send in a copy of your favourite photo to the office (in person or by email to office@stpauls-anglican.ca). Feel free to include pets in your photos. If you do not have a photo but would like to have a photo included, please talk to RJ and he will take your photo to be posted.
