Today 31Mar2019 in the service someone made reference to the Sermon on 17Mar2017 being about waiting. I had missed the service that day so had not heard this sermon. So made a point of accessing the podcast on the website today. Such a powerful message that I would have missed otherwise. When my daughter died in May of 2013 one message of encouragement was provided to me in many ways from many different directions was to "Do Nothing", "Be Patient with yourself".... "Wait". The wait has been gruelling, agonizing, and there has been suffering and continues to be suffering. As a grieving parent I have no expectation that this suffering will ever end. The only real solution is to "Wait". To do nothing, to rest in his arms even as I suffer. He is strong in my life when I am weakest. All of scripture is true and remains true in my experience. To wait, to persevere and rest in Christ whenever I manage to find it possible. G_d Bless.
