St Paul's Parish Retreat 2023: "Learning to Tell Our Story: Generation to Generation"
June 2-4, 2023 at Camp Nakamun with Rev Sarah Holmstrom
Registration has officially closed as of May 26th and payments are now due. In previous years, we offered bursaries to those who wanted to come but were unable to afford the full amount. In an effort to encourage people to come and to reduce barriers of entry, this year we are asking attendees to pay what you can to help cover the costs of the weekend.
Payments can be made by credit card through the registration form. Additionally, if you would like to use the following options, or if you are accessing a bursary, use the promotion code OTHER at the end of the registration form: (Be sure to indicate that it is for the Church Retreat). For any additional information, contact Michelle Schurek firstname.lastname@example.org

Dates/Time: June 2 - 4, 2023
Arrival time: 6:00-7:00pm Friday, June 2

Our learning will be lead by Rev Sarah Holmstrom, and the theme this year is "Learning to Tell Our Story: Generation to Generation". This builds from Deuteronomy 11:18-21. "Place these words on your hearts. Get them deep inside you. Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder. Teach them to your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning until you fall into bed at night. Inscribe them on the doorposts and gates of your cities so that you’ll live a long time, and your children with you, on the soil that God promised to give your ancestors for as long as there is a sky over the Earth." (The Message)
New additions for our retreat this year include a hot dog roast for dinner on Friday evening, a Saturday afternoon barge ride and an outdoor prayer tent. We are really looking forward to a wonderful weekend of learning, resting, playing and fellowship. Everyone is welcome.
