“When in doubt, go in pairs” is a phrase that refers to the practice of two police-screened adults being present when interacting with vulnerable parishioners (such as children, persons with disabilities, seniors) to ensure safety and prevent potential abuse. It is a key component to reducing opportunities for misconduct, and fosters a culture of transparency in the church. Please visit HERE to review the most recent update of the Safe Church Policy.
