During the Advent season, and throughout the year, there are many ways to help provide social supports in Edmonton. Whether through donating a grocery card, helping with the Christmas Hampers for Grovenor School families, offering to visit with other parishioners, or through another method, gestures of care and support are felt throughout the parish and in the city we serve. As we head into the Christmas Season, thank you for the contributions you make in our community and in the world! You make a big difference to those in need.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our Free Community Dinners in 2024. It has been wonderful to work with you on this outreach to our neighbourhood and Edmontonians. The guests always express gratitude for the dinner, and we have met so many others who come from parts of the city to volunteer as well. Although we are done for this year (no dinner in December), please mark your calendars for the first one in 2026 on January 24. Plan to be there!

For our Advent season, St Paul’s is once again partnering with Grovenor Elementary School to provide Christmas Hampers for seven or eight families at the school. These Hampers will include a variety of groceries, such as all the items needed for Christmas dinner. If you are interested in helping with planning, organizing, or shopping, please join the St Paul’s Turkey Team by speaking with Michelle Schurek. This team will work together to build the hampers. Financial donations are also accepted. Thank you!
