The Valley Zoo Development Society is excited to host their 13th year of Zoominescence: A Festival of Light presented by The King’s University this December at the Edmonton Valley Zoo! Nestled within Edmonton’s beautiful River Valley, the Valley Zoo will be home to a spectacular exhibition of artistic light installations for guests of all ages to admire and enjoy.

Christmas lights are going up! Candy Cane Lane (on 148 St from 92nd to 99th avenue) officially opens December 12, and will be open for vehicles and pedestrian traffic until January 2, 2026. This year they’re hosting two “no vehicle” evenings on December 13 & 23, with the area open to pedestrian traffic only. Please remember a food bank donation! https://yegcandycanelane.com.
