The Edmonton Music & Speech Arts Festival April 20 – May 1, giving thousands of music students, actors, musicians and music lovers the opportunity to perform and improve their craft. Correction on locations! This year the performances will be held at The King’s University (9125 50 Street NW), McDougall Church (10025 101 St NW), the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre (8426 Gateway Boulevard NW), and Archbishop MacDonald Catholic High School (14219 109 Avenue NW). Our next Community Dinner is Saturday, April 25! With approximately 60 guests each month, as well as 15 volunteers, we are enjoying the emergence of a community that is supportive, caring and encouraging. At our next dinner, we have set up, meal prep, hosting and some of the food service all covered! We could still use a few hands to help with serving, as well as kitchen and hall clean up at the end, so let Michelle Schurek know if you’re available. Thank you!

It’s National Volunteer Appreciation Week this week!  Everyone is welcome at our Volunteer Appreciation Coffee Time, NEXT WEEK following the service. Please come join the fun in the hall as we enjoy time in fellowship over soup, sandwiches and delicious goodies. We want to say THANK YOU to everyone who helps at St Paul’s! Together we’ll celebrate the ways in which our community cares for one another through acts of service. It is wonderful to be part of this sharing community. It takes each of us doing our part, big or small, to operate the building, outreach, and services. We simply wouldn’t be able to function the way we do without you!
