The Reverend Lori Calkins
Lori joined the staff at St. Paul's in 2011 and serves as Associate Priest. She oversees a variety of ministries in the parish.
Lori’s formal education includes a Master of Divinity, which she completed while doing part-time ministry to children and families, and a BA in English Literature. For several years prior to undertaking formal theological studies, Lori worked as a doula, providing support to expectant mothers and their families.
Lori grew up in Greater Vancouver and lived on Vancouver Island for 10 years before moving to landlocked Alberta. As a Metis woman and a priest she is engaged in the work of reconciliation between indigenous and non-indigenous peoples in this country.
