HERD (His Empowered & Ready Disciples)
Our Jr. High Students meet together during the 10:30 service roughly every other Sunday. They leave with Pastor Amy and our amazing HERD leaders after communion and announcements. On alternate Sundays Jr. High Students are part of the main service and have the opportunity to serve in various ministries.
Study of God Trinity Prayer Station
This year the Herd will have 3 Themes: Study of God, Who I am in Christ, and Freedom in Christ.
Currently, our topic is Who I am in Christ. If you have received Jesus, you are a child of God. Our culture bombards us with images of who we should be. People are labelled as geeks, jocks, etc. . . We tend to think of our identity in terms of what we do, but our true identity is in Christ. Since God made us, he knows who he designed us to be.

Our HERD schedule is designed so our Jr. High Students are in the main service during special services such as testimonies and confirmation. The variation gives them the chance to meet together around relevant, age appropriate topics, as well as be a part the main service a few times a month.
