St Paul's Vision
As followers of Jesus our vision is to Love God with all our hearts, and to love our neighbours as ourselves. Matthew 22:37-40.
The Vision is summarized as: Connecting People with God and each other. |
THE MISSION
Worship: We connect with God through worship.
Community: We connect by sharing our lives through God’s love
Service: We connect people with God through service to others
Three Scriptures highlight some of the important aspects of our Values, Vision and Mission.
- Matthew 22:37-40: Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.'"
- Matthew 28:18-20: Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
- Ephesians 4: 12-13: To prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
